Collection Practice Areas
Although we offer clients in Florida and throughout the country traditional debt collection services, one of our strengths is our ability to think outside the box and design solutions to meet the specific needs of individual clients. Our debtor-creditor and collection practice encompasses the following:

In every case, our collection attorneys take a practical approach to debtor-creditor law and collections, recognizing the cost and risk of protracted litigation along with the value of a speedy resolution of disputes. We stress the following in our collection practice:
Technology - We are equipped with a cutting edge computer network and custom collection law software. This allows us to handle major volume while still allowing for the proper attention to each case. All collection matters are handled by highly trained paralegals prior to suit and then directly by our attorneys once the matter goes to litigation. Of course, every phase of the process includes meaningful supervision and involvement by experienced collection attorneys.
Efficiency - Because our philosophy is no-nonsense, we do not spend a great deal of time on phone calls and letters as would a collection agency. We assume that our clients have gone to great effort to collect their receivables and would not have sent the matter to us unless it required the pressure and expertise of a law firm. Our highly trained paralegals send one very strong demand letter and then skillfully make up to three telephone calls in an attempt to amicably resolve the dispute.
Litigation Support - If any collection matter is not satisfactorily settled within fourteen days, it is forwarded immediately to our litigation department where it is sent out for suit. However, if the claim is a consumer matter, then Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) guidelines are adhered to. All of our personnel go through a rigorous training regimen and all are thoroughly familiar with the laws that govern each particular matter.
Convenience - We maintain our main office in Central Palm Beach County, from which we cover the State of Florida.
National Practice - Through our national attorney network, we handle debtor-creditor and collection claims all over the country. Electronic download and up-load is available for high-volume.
Communication - We appreciate the need for timely and efficient responses, which is why we communicate with clients concisely throughout each stage of the collections process, including collections that turn into protracted litigation.
Fees - Our fees, but not our expenses, respecting pure collection matters are generally contingent on recovery. However, some matters are far more complex and do not lend themselves to such a fee arrangement. In this case we discuss our fees openly with the client prior to commencing work. The Law Offices of Larry E. Bray, P.A., is known to be a firm that renders first-rate legal representation for a reasonable fee.
